21st Century Learning

At Wynberg Girls; Junior School, 21st century learning is at the heart of our educational approach, equipping students with the skills they need to thrive in an ever-changing world. Through project-based learning, integrated technology, collaborative problem-solving, and inquiry-driven lessons, we empower our learners to think critically, communicate effectively, and adapt creatively. Students work on real-world challenges—such as designing solutions using the engineering design process, presenting ideas using digital media, or collaborating across disciplines—to build resilience, collaboration, and critical thinking. By nurturing both academic and soft skills, we prepare our students not just for today, but for future careers and industries that may not even exist yet.

From grade 5-7 we run a BYOD programme where learners are expected to bring their own laptop to school for educational purposes. See the policies tab for more information on this.
