How do I report absentees?
Please call the Front Office, alternatively you may email the class teacher.
Where do I park?
Kindly park in the allocated parking bays in Aliwal Road. No parking on the school grounds or on the pavements outside of the school. On event days, please make use of Oxford Road.
What are the admission ages?
Your daughter should be 5, turning 6 in her Grade R year unless her birthday is mid November, December or January, in consulation with the Principal.
How many children are in a class?
Class size varies from Grade R to Grade 7.
What time do extra mural activities begin?
Intra-mural activities are conducted during the last hour of the school day.
Extra-mural activities are conducted between 15h00 and 16h00 unless otherwise stated.
Private extra murals have their own timetable.
My daughter’s property is lost – how can I find it?
There is no substitute for clearly naming the items and, more importantly, to speak to your daughter to take care of her possessions. Theft is not the issue at WGJS – however, ‘borrowing’ is commonplace and it’s not unusual to find a variety of other children’s clothes in your wash. If you are in search of an item please check the lost and found trunk in the Wendy Condie quad or alternatively please email Ms. Emkie at emkie@wgjs.co.za
