Introducing WGJS’s new Principal

It is with great pride that the Wynberg Girls’ Junior School Governing Body announces the new principal for the school, effective 1 March 2022: Mrs Melanie Sharland.

Mrs Sharland will commence her appointment on Tuesday, 1 March 2022 and the SGB is confident that she will be a worthy successor to Mrs Dee Cawcutt.

Mrs Cawcutt will retire after 43 years of service to education (12 of which have been at WGJS) on Monday, 28 February 2022. We thank Mrs Cawcutt for everything she has done for our school, community, staff and learners over the last 12 years and we wish her well in her retirement.
