Pillar Heads
At Wynberg, we believe that every learner has the potential to become a great leader among her peers.
For this reason, our Grade 7 learners are given the opportunity to be Monitors of various tasks and services throughout the school – from looking after Grade Rs before school and during breaks, to raising the school flag, taking guests on tours of the facilities, to helping pack books and devices away in the Literacy Lounge and Digital Den – there is a task suited to each individual.
Over and above this, four Grade 7s are chosen as Pillar Heads. Our Pillar Heads oversee various activities throughout the year, assisting teachers where necessary, helping to encourage participation from the rest of the grade and whole school.
